This combination gives Turbodog its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate toffee-like flavor. Turbodog began as a specialty ale but has gained a huge loyal following and has become one of Abita's flagship brews.
Abita Restoration Pale Ale is made with Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. It is liberally hopped and dry hopped with American Cascade and fermented with California Ale yeast. The end result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Wines for Valentine's
Bring your special valentine to Hops and Vines for chocolates, wine tasting and our Wine Lover's Wine Sale!!.
Sant Evasio Brachetto D'Acqui - This wine derives from the brachetto grapes cultivated on the hills of San Nicolao and Acqui Terme. It shows bright cherry and strawberry flavors and is more floral than others, giving it an added dimension. Sweet, soft and delicate. In fact it is called by many critics: “wine for women” perhaps for its low percentage of alcohol, or wanting to be poets, because its rose bouquet could be the one of a beautiful woman. $18.99
Chocolate Box Shiraz- Australia has certainly made Syrah its own, even bestowing it with a new name: Shiraz. In the warm, dry climate of Australia this noble grape, responsible for some of the grandest wines of France, produces an intense, unique expression that is distinctly Australian. The ripe grapes take on classic notes of black pepper and leather that add depth and complexity to the black cherry and plum fruits on the palate. Australian Shiraz has typically been aged in American Oak barrels which impart the wine with a distinct note of vanilla that can add to the impression of ripeness many of these wines have, but the time in barrel also allows the wines a chance to settle and reveal their rich, voluptuously styled mouthfeel. $16.99
Ass Kisser Red Blend - A beautifully balanced blend of two classic old varieties. Intense varietal fruit - plenty of body and well matched by the sweet oak and fine tennins. $10.99

Homebrewer's Night! February 4th, 6-8pm
Our homebrew beer tastings have been such a hit that we're introducing a new monthly event - every first Thursday we'll be hosting hombrewer's night. Homebrewers are invited to bring samples of their beers and meads to share with fellow brewers for feedback and fellowship. We envision this event as a roundtable for homebrewers to share ideas and troubleshoot brewing problems. Brewers of all levels are welcome, but we especially want to invite new brewers to stop in!
